Glasswool Insulation
A lightweight insulating material manufactured from glass. It consists of long, spun fine glass fiber bonded with thermosetting resin
EQUINOX® Glasswool
The finished material is an economic and effective insulation material for Thermal, Acoustic and Fire Safety applications.
Its application are wide; ranging from insulating of HVAC ducts, underside of metal roofing, partitions, ceilings and other building applications ; offering thermal control, energy savings and acoustical comfort.
It is non-combustible and as such, will not promote or encourage the spread of flame.
Typical Properties
The glass fibers are non-combustible, lightweight, homogenous, compressible, flexible, resilient and easy to handle. It is dimensionally stable and chemically inert and does not react with other substances it comes into contact with. It also do not support corrosion and is fungi resistance EQUINOX® Glasswool does not contain asbestos
Common Applications
Ideally used as a thermal and acoustic insulation in roofing’ A/C ducts and walls and partitions of commercial buildings. Widely used for thermal and acoustic treatment in steel structures and large industrial offices, complexes and airports.
